February of 2008 marked our 34th
anniversary of serving children and
families in Enid and the
surrounding communities! Over the
years we have remained steadfast to
our overall purpose and mission –
to
value, support
and care for individuals and
families to build a stronger
community. As the communities
call for services as increased, we
have expanded our agency to meet an
array of needs from prevention
education to emergency youth shelter
and mental health interventions.
Despite growing financial
constraints with limited state and
federal funding, we continue to be
called upon to meet the needs of our
community. Indeed, YFS is one of the
largest mental health providers and
the only youth shelter in Garfield
County.
