Board Member Comments

"Having served on the Board of Directors of YFS for a number of years, I swell with pride at the accomplishments we have witnessed.  We have not only grown in the number of programs and services we provide the Enid Community, but the quality of our staff is beyond compare.  We have had many exciting success stories over the years and as the saying goes – “If I made a difference in the life of just one person, I will not have lived in vain.”  I believe that YFS has and will continue to make a difference in the lives of many of Enid’s children and their families.  Our greatest accomplishment, at least for me, is the completion of our Capital Campaign and the anticipation of having a new state-of-the-art facility in which to perform these services.  It is truly a dream, fashioned by our founder, Thelma J. Gungoll, come true!"
