YFS IN THE COMMUNITY

Agency booth at the 2009 United Way Chili Cook-Off. YFS is "Blasting into the Future". Our chili won 3rd place. A big thanks to everyone who helped at "Mission Control".

The YFS Golf Team, consisting of Brandon Gilson, Taylor Randolph, Randy Kooiman and Mitch Zaloudek, came in third place overall in the 2009 United Way Golf Tournament. Mitch was the grand prize winner, winning a weekend trip to a golf resort in Pagosa Springs, Colorado.

The YFS booth at the 2008 United Way Chili Cook Off. The agency received 2nd place for best chili. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped make it a success.

Jane Martin stirs the pot at the 2007 United Way Chili Cook-Off! The theme of the YFS booth was "Thelma Gungoll's 100 Years of Dreamin'". Thanks to everyone that helped plan, set-up, serve and tear down. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Melissa Mowrey and Brooke George did a wonderful job setting up for the Youth Activities Fair at Oakwood Mall on  August 11, 2007.  Thank you to all the volunteers that helped pass out information and blow-up balloons for the kids.

Snoopy and Woodstock made great companions for the staff and board of YFS during the 2006 United Way Chili Cook Off! A special thanks goes out to everyone that donated their time and talents, to make it a success.
