Because Every story begins with hope.

First and foremost, [the program] helped me to get sober and have a different mindset. YFS helped me get my children back and helped mend my marriage and bring our family back together through marriage counseling and Family Treatment Court.

Individual counseling helped me to talk about the things that happened in my past and let go of the trauma that I held onto for so long because of it. It gave me a voice. It let me feel heard and know that my feelings do matter. I gained so much knowledge through all the groups I took, and now I can view life differently and have a better outlook on life.

I learned to take accountability for my own actions, and to hold myself accountable and not blame others. I learned how to control my anger through anger management.

Most of all I learned who I am, not just as a mother, but who I am as a person, as a woman. I know now the life I want and that my family deserves. I want to be able to work with people that struggle with addictions and have similar situations as I have had.

I appreciate all that YFS has done and the ones who had apart in helping. A huge thank you YFS family!
